Who We Are
WAINGAM FOUNDATION is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and underserved communities across the country. Established with a strong commitment to social justice and sustainable development, the Foundation works to uplift individuals and families—particularly children, youth, and women—by providing opportunities that foster dignity, self-reliance, and long-term growth.
WAINGAM FOUNDATION proudly partners with TheHrHub, a leading recruitment platform, to enhance employment opportunities, skills development, and career support for youth and women across Cameroon.
Through carefully designed programs in education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and environmental protection, WAINGAM FOUNDATION addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing communities today. We support access to quality education through scholarships, learning materials, and academic mentoring. Our health initiatives promote awareness, preventive care, and access to essential medical services. We empower women and young people through vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and income-generating projects that strengthen livelihoods. In addition, our environmental programs encourage responsible practices, conservation, and climate resilience.
Sustainable Solutions
Our Programs

🎓 Education Support Program
The Education Support Program is dedicated to improving access to quality education for underprivileged children and youth. We provide scholarships, school supplies, learning materials, and academic support to students from low-income families, enabling them to remain in school and perform to their full potential. Through partnerships with schools and local authorities, we help reduce dropout rates and promote equal learning opportunities.

🏥 Health and Wellness Program
Our Health and Wellness Program seeks to improve community health by increasing access to essential healthcare services and promoting preventive practices. We organize medical outreach campaigns, health screenings, vaccination awareness programs, and public education initiatives on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention, particularly in underserved areas.

👩🏽‍💼 Women and Youth Empowerment Program
The Women and Youth Empowerment Program focuses on building economic independence and leadership capacity among women and young people. We provide vocational training, entrepreneurship development, digital skills education, and access to small business support to help participants generate sustainable income.

🌱 Environmental Sustainability Program
Our Environmental Sustainability Program promotes responsible environmental management and climate resilience within communities. We conduct awareness campaigns on conservation, waste management, renewable energy, and sustainable farming practices, while supporting tree-planting and ecosystem restoration initiatives.

🤝 Humanitarian Assistance Program
The Humanitarian Assistance Program provides timely support to communities affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and social crises. We distribute food, clothing, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and other essential items to families in need, ensuring dignity and immediate relief during emergencies.

⚖️ Social Justice and Advocacy Program
Our Social Justice and Advocacy Program promotes human rights, equity, and inclusive development. We engage in policy advocacy, public awareness campaigns, and community dialogues to address discrimination, inequality, and social exclusion.
